In 1990, when I was doing my thesis on Advertising, I was looking for images from Pakistan, its culture, monuments and faces. But I couldn’t find anything and I ended up by using western image bank socks. Then time changes and computer enter in our life and media. But still there was a large gap for local footage and archives. Now when I saw work of Tahir Saleem’s work portfolio (images), it was surprisingly fulfilled my wish. He covered all aspects that were missing on net for local usage like monuments, places, people, customs, culture and etc. All photographs are well composed and ready to use for any document, article, web and promotional media like print and digital media. I highly recommend and praise his hard effort to bring long waited concept in to the reality. Please encourage him and appreciate his self-motivated idea.
